Truth Over Tricks: Spotting Spiritual Scams in a World of Woo
We all love a bit of magic. But lately? The spiritual space has become a magnet for inflated claims, fake stats, and shiny promises that prey on good people. It’s time to raise the collective BS detector and teach people how to spot the scams, manipulations, and red flags—whether they’re scrolling social media, or Googling a healer.

🚩 Red Flags in the Spiritual Space
1. "Only 3 spots left!" (But there's no actual limit)
Fake scarcity is designed to trigger FOMO. If you see this tactic used constantly, tread carefully.
2. "I manifested $100K in 3 days"
Cool story—where’s the proof? Bold income claims with no receipts are often a sales funnel, not a spiritual journey.
3. "DM me, I felt your energy"
Classic scam approach, especially from hacked or imposter accounts. A real reader won’t slide into your DMs unsolicited.
4. "You’re cursed" or "You need this spell removed"
Fear-based marketing is emotional manipulation—run, don’t walk.
5. No real testimonials
Are they all vague screenshots with no names or photos? Check if they have any tagged content from real people.
BONUS RED FLAG:
Watch for over-sensational storytelling posts that follow a very specific emotional formula: "No one believed in me… but now I’ve made it big and I’m here to help you do the same."These can stir emotion and seem empowering—but they’re often part of a sales funnel script, not authentic storytelling. Ask: Is the journey overly polished? Are results exaggerated without proof? Is the next step always message me now or click this link?
🧠 How to Search Smarter (Socials + Google)
🔍 On Social Media:
Check social reviews — Facebook pages and some Instagram profiles allow reviews or ratings. Look for patterns in feedback—are people saying the same negative thing? Or do reviews sound copy-pasted?
Check the About section — Most platforms show when the page or profile was created. If it popped up last week, be cautious.
Browse their feed — Do they post regularly, or is there a sudden burst of salesy posts with no history?
Look at tagged posts — Are people genuinely interacting with them?
Check their comment section — Is it full of bots, or actual questions and conversations?
Use reverse image search if the photos seem too perfect or familiar.
Video > Screenshots — Video testimonials, reels, and long-form stories are harder to fake.
🔎 On Google:
Try: "[Name] scam", "[Business name] reviews", or "Is [name] legit"
Dig into Reddit or forums where spiritual people share real feedback
Search for exact phrases like "quantum wealth activation" in quotes—you’ll often see the same scripts recycled across fake accounts
⚠️ Scammy Keywords to Watch Out For
Quantum cash codes
Light activation portals
DNA upgrades (with no context)
"Spirit chose you" DMs
Instant soul alignment
Energy clearing bundles promising big wins with no effort
🌿 Signs of a Genuine Healer, Coach or Woo Worker

🧭 Final Word
If it feels off, that’s your inner knowing doing its job. Trust that. Spiritual work is sacred—but it’s also a space that needs boundaries and awareness. Let’s keep it real.
Here’s the truth: you have the power to change your life—no one else can do it for you. Change your habits, change your direction, and your energy shifts. That’s how you update your personal blueprint. There is no magic key. Everyone can evolve—but it takes aligned action.
When I read palms, I tell people: "This is the blueprint I see right now." It’s always subject to change. Your palm lines can shift in just 3–6 months, but only if you shift something in your life. If you keep plodding along the same way, nothing changes.
Workshops and training? Amazing support. But a healer doesn’t unlock you. They support you while you unlock yourself.
The magic? It’s already in you. You just need to learn how to access it.
Want to go deeper? I teach courses on energetic discernment and rods training—and if you want to know your personal blueprint, it’s literally in your palm.
Let’s make magic—not get manipulated. -Ang x
